iPhone app sales reporting by appFigures

Changes to iTunes Connect

News View Comments

Apple has rolled out an update for iTunes Connect that caused connection issues between appFigures and iTC. These changes prevented syn-now operations and delayed auto import for several hours.

We’ve updated appFigures to communicate with the updated iTC and have tested all services.

If you are still having issues when syncing please contact us directly.

We’re also working at full speed on some major updates to the ranking section of the site (more automation, that’s right). If you are interested in helping us beta test these new features please contact us.

Ranks from Japan are now being tracked

Features & Updates View Comments

Quick addition – appFigures is now tracking ranks from the Japanese app store. First update was done earlier today.

That’s it for now.

Plan change: You decide which apps to import!

Announcements View Comments

After thorough consideration and some great back-end improvements we are happy to announce that appFigures will no longer force you to import (and pay for) all apps in your iTunes account, just the ones you actually want to track. Regardless of whether they are being offered for sale or not.

Major new features added

Features & Updates View Comments

We’ve been quite for some time with updates mainly because we were hard at work on some new major additions. So without further adou, here’s what’s been added:

1. Support for European date format

No more confusion for non-U.S based members. You can now select between U.S format (mm/dd/yy) or European (dd-mm-yy) by going to Settings > Profile. You may change the format at any time, changes take affect immediately and apply to all dates throughout the site for all tables, charts, and date inputs as well as email reports.

2. Daily snapshot table + detailed data-table for each country added to ranks

The charts for rank tracking are nice, but a data-table that lists today’s ranks and compares them to yesterday’s is even better.

When viewing all countries the data-table will show today’s snapshot by country, when switching to a single country the table will provide daily info for that country for the selected time period.

The tables have also been equipped with trend arrows to quickly tell you if you’re moving up, down, or just staying at the same place.

3. Italy and Switzerland are now being tracked as well

To complement the update ranks reports we’ve added tacking for Italy and Switzerland.

4. Option to view reviews for all countries in a single page

Yes, one click to get all reviews.

The reviews page has been updated as part of a multi-series updates to come. In this first installment we’ve added a quick link for all countries, all major countries, and all minor countries – all work just as a single country would including translation.

Note: Viewing reviews for all countries takes a bit longer than for a single country, so be patient.

5. Minor UI improvements throughout

We’ve modified and tweaked UI elements throughout to make the system more responsive and consistent. They are too minor to list but when you find them you’ll know.

And as a friendly reminder if you haven’t upgraded your trial account yet now is a great time, and you wont be charged until the trial ends.

appFigures is now officially out of beta – Welcome appFigures v1.0

Announcements, News View Comments

We’re happy to announce that after a short delay the beta period of appFigures has come to an end. appFigures v1.0 has been released and includes several UI modifications as well as other minor bug fixes and other minor additions.

As promised, all members who joined before the end of the beta (including new members who joined between after the 21st and through today) have received a free month of service as well as a promotion for two (2) months of service at 50% off. The promotion will be applied automatically when you upgrade your account.

You may upgrade your account at any time. If you are still within the free month period your account will be upgraded (so you won’t see any upgrade links or messages) but we won’t start charging you until the free month ends so dont hesitate to upgrade early. There are numerous upgrade links within the site which shouldnt be hard to miss.

Accounts who choose not to upgrade will be downgraded to a basic (free) account at the end of the free month. You can keep using appFigures after that (and maybe even upgrade later…)

Check out the blog soon for updates on new features coming to v1.0 over the next few days.

Ariel Michael and the appFigures Team.

New pricing plans

Announcements, News View Comments

As you probably already know, we recently released the initial pricing structure we will be implementing when appFigures comes out of beta later this month. We’ve received a lot of feedback from members who asked for more flexibility with different amounts of apps. First we’d like to thank everyone for your suggestions and critiques, it shows us you care. In turn we decided to revise the plan structure a bit to allow for more flexibility.

What’s changed?

Free plan: The free plan now includes unlimited Sync on Demand.

Paid plan: Instead of having to pay for a package with a set number of apps and potentially more apps than you really have, start with the basic plan and add as many apps as you need. You can add more apps to your plan at any time.
