The new maps are 86% cooler, more compatible

Did you see? The maps in your ‘by country’ report are a little cooler than they used to be. We revamped our mapping component recently and it’s now wearing a touched up, slightly skeuomorphic design. It also has an improved weight-based coloring algorithm and, unlike it’s predecessor, it’s all javascript:

In our effort to make all of our graphs as portable as possible we already changed most of them to be javascript-based, but changing the maps proved to be a bit tricky. Now that they’re ready you can interact with maps on mobile devices by touching different regions, just like you can already with the other visuals.
