Apple Lowers Minimum Payout Amount to $150

We recently discovered that Apple has lowered the minimum amount required to receive payment for a region from $250 to $150.

From Apple:

If your proceeds from sales for a given currency/territory for a given month are less than $150 USD, or the equivalent in local currency, we will withhold payment until you accumulate more than $150 USD (or equivalent).

We’ve updated the Sales by Region report to reflect this change in its calculation.

    • This info is available in the financial reports page on iTunes Connect. They havent updated their F.A.Q yet so it is rather confusing but we’ve seen many instances of payments totaling less than $150/region so we believe it.

  1. What happens if sales from one country NEVER exceed $150? We have buyers in Malta, Indonesia, Ireland…does this mean we won’t get paid?

    Can’t find the answer.

  3. Sales go by region as opposed to country most of the “small” countries are grouped into the “Worldwide” region. Apple reconciles payments at the end of the year, so any sums totaling less than $150 (per region) wil be paid then. Considering exchange rates and bank fees this may mean you wont see much of those sales…
